From Logan International Airport and Route 1A South

Take I-90 West/Ted Williams Tunnel to Exit 25 "South Boston". At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Congress Street and turn right onto D Street. Take the right after the highway ramp onto Summer Street, go one intersection, and turn left onto East Side Drive.

From Western Massachusetts

Take I-90 Eastbound to Exit 25 "South Boston". At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Congress Street and turn right onto D Street. After the highway ramp, turn right onto Summer Street. The BCEC will be on your left. Take the right after the highway ramp onto Summer Street, go one intersection, and turn left onto East Side Drive.

From Points North via I-93

Take I-93 Southbound to Exit 23 “Purchase Street”. Continue straight on Purchase Street to Seaport Blvd and turn left. Continue on Seaport Blvd. to D Street and turn right. After the highway ramp, turn right onto Summer Street. The BCEC will be on your left. Take the right after the highway ramp onto Summer Street, go one intersection, and turn left onto East Side Drive.

From Points South via I-93

Take I-93 North to Exit 20 "South Boston". Follow the signs to "I-90 East". Take the first tunnel exit to "South Boston". At the first set of lights, take a right onto Congress Street and then turn right on D Street. After the highway ramp, turn right onto Summer Street. The BCEC will be on your left. Take the right after the highway ramp onto Summer Street, go one intersection, and turn left onto East Side Drive.

Valet Parking:

Valet parking ($40) is available during most events. To access from Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive and the valet area will be immediately on your right. We accept cash and all major credit cards.

BCEC South Parking Lot:

To self-park in the BCEC South Lot, from Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive, drive past the valet area, and continue straight along the side of the building. At the end of the building, make a right and go down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left and you will see the entrance to the South Parking lot in front of you. Parking rates are $25for regular sized vehicles and $50for oversized vehicles.

Please note: Parking is limited at the BCEC and is available on a first come, first served basis. On certain events if the South Lot is full, attendees may be directed to an offsite parking lot.

Alternate Parking

In the event that onsite parking has reached capacity, additional parking may be available at either the Boston Marine Industrial Park (BMIP) Garage or various parking lots on the Waterfront. All alternate parking lots are on a first come, first served basis and are within walking distance of the BCEC.

Please note: Offsite parking is NOT guaranteed. The MCCA does not own or operate any offsite parking lots and are not responsible for setting lot capacity or parking rates, the exception being when BCEC event attendees are specifically directed from the South Lot to the offsite garage or lot.

The MCCA encourages attendees and exhibitors to take public transportation to the BCEC.

Via Logan Airport:

The BCEC is a 5-10 minute taxi ride from Logan Airport.

Via the MBTA:

  1. MBTA Silver Line SL1 route to World Trade Center Station.
  2. Exit at the World Trade Center Station, and take the elevator up to Level 2. Follow directions to BCEC/World Trade Center Avenue.
  3. Take a left onto World Trade Center Ave, to the BCEC across Summer Street.

By Taxi:

3-5 minute ride from South Station to BCEC front entrance.

By Walking:

Take a right from South Station onto Summer Street and the BCEC is about a 10-15 minute walk on the right hand side (415 Summer Street).

By Local Bus or Rapid Transit Bus:

Silver Line Bus from South Station:Take the Silver Line1, Silver Line 2 or Silver Line Way Shuttle to World Trade Center Station.

Local Bus Route #7 from South Station:From South Station on Summer Street, board City Point bound bus #7 and ride two stops to 425 Summer Street just past the front entrance of the BCEC.

Boat Service (City Water Taxi):

Boston Convention & Exhibition Center? ›

From Boston's subway/T, travelers can take the MBTA Red Line, exit at South Station and either walk (per the directions above) or take the Silver Line SL1, SL2, or SL3 to the World Trade Center stop as above. The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center is also reachable via city bus.
