Check your local listings! Since it’s aired already I can say somethings about what you’re in store for :)My objective was to take it all in and have the time of my life. I want to believe that one of the more memorable last episodes, because I was having a blast and my energy was infectious. Watching yourself on the plane is a pretty surreal experience, and not egotistical at all😜

Ok, this is so crazy!! I LITERALLY was telling my mom about your experience 3 hours ago. I was bragging about how genuine your support was for your fellow contestants - you are an inspiration Jack!! My mom hasn't even seen the episode (yet, but now she will get to!) and she said "We need more people like him in the world". Amen to that!!

Weekend Warrior Update! Lessons in ProgressLast week, I shared the ups and downs of our DIY retaining wall project. I’m happy (and sore) to report that after another weekend of hard work, we’re finally seeing it all come together! The second weekend wasn’t any easier, but having pushed through the initial frustrations, we found a rhythm. Each stone we placed became a testament to our perseverance. While the physical challenges remained, the experience taught me more than just construction skills. It reinforced the value of grit and determination. In both my personal and professional life, there are projects that will test my patience and resolve. These experiences teach me to embrace the struggle and find satisfaction in the journey, not just the destination, no matter how much blood and sweat it takes! As we wrap up this project, I’m reminded that the best things often require the most effort. Whether it’s in our careers or home improvement, the effort we invest today lays the foundation for the success of tomorrow. Here’s to embracing challenges and celebrating progress, one step (or stone) at a time.#perseverance #DIY #patience #growth #determination

Weekend Warrior Woes:There’s always been this one part of our yard that I’ve hated looking at: an overgrown garden that was never taken care of. We got a couple of quotes and decided that for the cost, we could do it ourselves and save thousands. Famous last words. So, this past weekend we embarked on what seemed like a straightforward home improvement project: building a retaining wall. Armed with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude, we set out to transform our yard. However, what we envisioned as a simple task quickly turned into a test of our patience and endurance. The process was far more laborious and frustrating than I anticipated. Every stone placed, every inch of soil shifted, seemed to mock my initial confidence. There were hundreds of moments when I questioned my decision not to hire a professional. The physical and mental challenges were real, and the progress felt painstakingly slow.Yet, amidst the frustration, I found a silver lining: the lesson of patience. Each hurdle reminded me that some tasks, whether in our personal or professional lives, require a level of persistence and calm that isn't always easy to summon. It’s tempting to seek the quick and easy route, to delegate or outsource the tough jobs. But there’s value in enduring the process, in learning to breathe through the setbacks, and in appreciating the gradual progress. Hopefully one more weekend to go 🤞 #HomeImprovement #DIYProjects #Patience #Resilience #PersonalGrowth #HardWork

The Post-Work Ritual: Conquering the Kitchen After HoursWorking from home has its perks, but it also presents unique challenges. The proximity to the kitchen can be a double-edged sword, as it can be a tempting distraction. For me, the New York Times' daily recipe has become a post-work ritual, a chance to unwind and unleash my inner chef.Maintaining clear boundaries between work and personal life is crucial for WFH success. Here's what works for me:- As soon as I'm done with tasks, I shut down my work computer and silence notifications. This creates a mental and physical barrier, allowing me to fully transition into "chef mode."- If a particularly intricate recipe catches my eye during the day, I resist the urge to dive in. Instead, I add it to my weekend cooking plans.- Leftovers become a badge of honor in the WFH world. Reheating a portion for the next day's lunch allows me to enjoy the delicious results without sacrificing valuable morning prep time.Working from home offers the opportunity to craft a personalized routine. My post-work culinary adventures are a testament to that. They're not a distraction from work, but rather a reward for a productive day. What are your favorite ways to unwind and recharge after work? Share your tips and routines in the comments below!#WFHlife #WorkLifeBalance #CulinaryAdventures

From learning valuable lessons under the iconic lights of Wheel of Fortune, to now spinning deals forward as an Account Executive, I've come a long way! Trading Pat Sajak for potential clients was a calculated risk, but the lessons I learned on the show have been my secret weapons in sales and in life. Calculated risk-taking, adaptability, and collaboration were crucial on the show, and they continue to be in my new role. Whether pitching ideas or navigating new territory, I approach challenges with calculated boldness and find creative solutions. Unexpected objections or market shifts? Bring it on! Just like solving cryptic puzzles, sales demands quick thinking and adaptability. And building strong partnerships with clients and colleagues is key to unlocking success. Together, we can solve any puzzle and create win-win scenarios. My journey on Wheel of Fortune wasn't just about the potential prize, but the lessons learned. And now, those lessons continue to help me grow and succeed. So, while the wheel may have stopped spinning, the lessons and growth keep rolling on! #careerdevelopment #takingrisks #culturematters #wheeloffortune

I’m ELATED to share that I’m starting a new position as an Account Executive for Large Enterprise at Dayforce! I have spent the past 10 years in Advisory, 8 of which have been with Ceridian/Dayforce. I have worked with some of the most brilliant, creative, authentic, and incredible people that were employees, customers or prospects, and this new position will allow me to meet even more.Additionally, I couldn't be happier to hand the reins of Solution Advisory over to our very own, Tricia Waibel! I am so excited to watch the team find new and exciting ways to unlock quantifiable value for our customers and prospects.
